Ashleigh Watson is a powerful and versatile vocalist, who was born to entertain. Tearing up the stage with soul sister supergroup Sweethearts and appearing at the Poretta Soul Festival and Montreaux Jazz Festival at only 14 years of age! Ashleigh’s influences range from the swinging jazz of the 1920's right through to the funky 70's - taking major inspiration from the 'doo-wop' of the 1950's. A lover of Motown and Soul music, Ashleigh seeks to reignite the energy and passion of music through her performance.
On stage the Bluetone Assembly seeks to connect with the audience through honest performance, individual and band improvisation and meaningful song interpretation. The aim is to entertain and involve an audience, but at heart it is about sharing stories in word and music and moving an audience spiritually and (hopefully) physically!

Andrew Langton Joy is an accomplished guitarist/multi-instrumentalist who breathes life into the rich ‘rootsy’ harmonic colours and rhythms of The Assembly. Raised on a musical gumbo of blues, jazz, country and rock music, his prime influences include the great Muddy Waters. Greatly respected and highly sought after sideman.

Quentin Frayne is a musician who pulls no punches, playing with energy, expression and an unquestionable passion. With a rich history covering virtually all musical bases, under ‘Q’s’ command, it’s all or it’s nothing. When the music begins to roll, the groove will rise to a higher level... often compelling the audience to get up and dance!

Surrounded by jazz, swing and 50’s rock and roll music, Stephen’s musical lineage was largely unknown – until told that his grandfather was a swing band bassist who performed the dance halls of London during The Blitz. Steve jammed with locally raised, international talents before joining The Assembly.
